Two older couples spent the weekend together in Fernandina Beach. When the women had retired to another room., one of the gentlemen commented about how great the restaurant had been the evening before. The second man duly agreed and asked "What's the name of that restaurant again?"

The first also strained to remember and asked, "What's the name of that common red flower?"

The second responded tentatively, "Carnation?"

"No. That’s not the one," declare the first.

"California Poppy?"

"No", the first replied, "it's the one given for love?"

The second gentlemen said, "Oh, you mean a rose?"

The first replied, "Yes, that's it."

He then turned toward the other room, raising his voice, and said, "Hey Rose, what's the name of that restaurant where we ate last night?"
