Ulrich Leinhase (A Faustian Bargain, More or Less)

A foursome was golfing and had some money riding on which of them would win that particular day. As one approached his ball on the green, he realized that if he made the putt he would be tied with the leader.

As he concentrated on the shot, the devil appeared to him and offered him a bargain, “give up five years of your sex life and I’ll make sure you sink this putt.”  Without much thought the man agreed and easily sunk the putt.

On the 18th hole, the devil reappeared and told him he could assure a hole-in-one if the man would simply give up another five years of sex. The man readily agreed, hit his hole-in–one and won for the very first time in his life.

In the clubhouse bar afterward, as everyone celebrated his victory, the devil appeared a final time. “Well, you won,” he said, “but how do you feel now about giving up ten years of sex just to win?” “Not bad,” said Father O’Malley, “not bad really.”
