Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contests

Record Attendance!

Toast of Jax shattered attendance records with 32 attendees at its annual Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contest meeting. 24 members and eight guests were regaled by five members who delivered top-notch humorous speeches and six members who had an opportunity to evaluate a Test Speech delivered by Area Governor Ray Benson. Suffice it to say that the judges had their work cut out for them in selecting the best!

Business Meeting (Danny Pritchard presiding)

VP Education & Training Danny Pritchard announced that delivery of the club’s new Toast of Jax banner is in the works.

Pritchard also announced upcoming Area and Division level contests. Area 37 contests will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 6 at the Southeast Branch Public Library Auditorium. Click <here> for details. Division A contests will be held at noon, Saturday September 21, at Dave & Busters Restaurant. Click <here> for details
