Business Meeting (George Oehl presiding)

A motion was made to purchase officer pins – for both the present slate of officers and those to be installed July 1 – and membership pins for all new members. After much discussion, including the cost of pins – $50 per officer set and $3.00 per membership pin in quantities over 12, and the current treasury balance – the matter was bifurcated into two separate motions and tabled until next meeting.

President Oehl announced that he plans to attend the Area 22 International Speech and Table Topics Contests in St. Augustine on March 22 and encouraged others member to also attend.  Details are available at the Calendar Page of the Club’s web site.

An exploratory meeting for a Youth Leadership Program to be sponsored by the Club will be held at the Julington Creek Plantation Library at 10:00 a.m.
